MoBU 2024 Art Fair

We are so fortunate that Bogdan was able to travel to Romania this week to attend the 2nd annual international art fair in Bucharest, MoBU 2024. It was a whirlwind of a trip, as no one should be expected to travel across the planet in coach twice in a ten day period. Bogdan was unstoppable. In just these few days he was able to network with all sorts of art community leaders in Romania, meet with artists of all sorts, solicit applications for our newly opened grant cycle, and still managed to create numerous video interviews and visit with his family. He comes home in two days, so I expect he will collapse with exhaustion sometime after that.

The amazing thing about a trip like this one is that it is all positive. He was able to see the amazing artwork by many creative folks we've never met, as well as connect with artists that we have not seen since last year. There is an adrenaline rush that comes from sharing something you are passionate about, so Bogdan was able to tap into that energy source when describing the work that we're doing at Aripa Arte, and imagining the collaborations that are possible with all the remarkable artists, gallery owners, and collectors that he met over the past few days.
