It’s hard to believe that Aripa Arte is only one year old. The seeds of this organization were planted during two trips to Romania, where we interviewed artists, gallery owners, art educators, and students to understand the challenges they face and how we might help.
We connected with the Romanian art community, curated a stunning collection for our silent auction, hosted a highly successful inaugural Gala celebration, launched our website, and issued our first call for grant applications. We also began developing an expansive online curriculum designed to empower artists of all backgrounds. We awarded five artist grants, acquired a platform for online coursework, partnered with Art Movements Foundation in their 2nd Annual Drawing Competition, attended the Bucharest International Art Fair, and interviewed each of our grant recipients to share their stories.
This year we have gathered some amazing art for our Silent Auction, and hope you will connect with these remarkably talented artists as they build their art careers.
